Updated indicative list of the International Trade Fairs : ANNEX – V (This
is an indicative list of international exhibitions for Technical
Textiles. Stakeholders may also opt for other exhibitions which are not
mentioned in the list. The interested units should provide additional
details like event website details, event brochure and organizer details
etc. to the Office of Textile Commissioner, Mumbai in such cases.) |
| 3 | Amendments issued under TMTT by Ministry of Textiles |
| a) | The number of persons per visit by a unit has been restricted to ‘two’ for Market Development Support for export sales under TMTT. (Ref: Ministry of Textiles’ letter number F.No.6/1/2010-A&MMT dated 12th December 2011). |
| b) | Under Market Development Support for Export Sales component under Mini-Mission II of Technology Mission on Technical Textiles (TMTT), units are allowed to submit their claims within 90 days of their return to India, instead of 45 days of their return to India as mentioned in the operational guidelines of TMTT, with retrospective effect. (Ref: Minutes of the meeting of 7th Empowered Committee of TMTT held on 17.01.2014) |
| 4 | Extension of TMTT |
| TMTT has been extended for another two years (FY 2015-16 & 2016-17) with the left out fund of TMTT, i.e., Rs. 55.30 crore. Under the extension of TMTT, new components, i.e., Focus Incubation Centre (FIC), Scheme for Promoting Usage of Agrotextiles and Geotechnical textiles in India (excluding North Eastern States) have also been introduced. | |
